I was at Hallmark yesterday after work to get a card for my cousin's 13th birthday. I never buy cards at a card store - always the dollar store or I get the packages from Costco. Cards and I do not really get along - I don't understand them - they cost money, people read them and then (in most cases) people throw them away (or - hopefully - recycle them). I am a writer. I am a crafter. And yet, I do not understand cards. Anywho - I so digress. I had a beautiful card in my hand with tons of sparkle, etc. for $3.99. I couldn't do it so I got him a $0.99 card from their discount aisle. Success! But in between my card dilemma I saw that they still had tons of Christmas goodies (or in some cases - Christmas crap) left at 50% off so I had to look. And I found this ornament - the one I wanted to buy this year but couldn't justify the price for 50% off! Sign, sealed, delivered - it's mine. Just another reminder that it is the littlest things that can brighten your day!
