• visit Sandy Claus at Donna Martin's on Sunday.
• check out some Cloverdale Christmas lights.
• maybe make an offer on a house ... oh my!

holiday parties and stomach cramp hell

Friday - We had our soccer Christmas party. I was the DD for Chad and my parents. I cannot even begin to tell you how annoying my soccer team is - ha ha. Love each of them to death but trying to get them to get organized for the gift exchange game was pure hell. Finally got it all together and I shared some lotions, body wash, etc. gifts with Gillian - we split ours in two so we got the best of both worlds. Chad and Rob drank together so Alli took them home while I drove my mom, Jim and Gillian home. Chad fell asleep on top of me snoring. Good times :)

Saturday - Finished our Christmas shopping! Woohoo! Then home to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks and a nap. Back out to Chad's parent's house for their tree trimming party. Super fun.

Sunday - Up at 2 am with the worst stomach cramps of my life. In the bathroom from 2 am to 10 am and thought that death was coming for me. Must have eaten something that did not agree with me. Tried to sleep for a few hours but Chad and Lexxus would not leave me alone. Met my parent's at the house that we are wanting to buy and looked around. I am still in love. To Chad's parent's place for Chad to shovel the driveway and home to finish my file work that I do on the side. Watched some Christmas specials including Smurfs, Garfield AND He-Man/She-Ra and in bed by 8:30. Still having stomach pains today but only when I eat :(

FIRST DAY OF SNOW!

This weekend I plan on:

• enjoying our soccer Christmas party this evening (being a true DD tonight for Chad and my parents - I am so proud of myself - ha ha :)
• helping to put up Chad's parent's Christmas tree tomorrow and their Christmas Trimming Party
• finishing checking our list twice and getting the final gifts in order
• entering files and finishing the PT job Christmas cards

chad's away so jay will ... get down to business!

friday ... Chad was in Kelowna for the weekend visiting friends, drinking and I guess snowboarding :) I got off early on Friday and went and picked up Lexxus from his parent's house - it was for sure going to be a girls only weekend! Went home and made hashbrowns and a sandwich (good old Jay "single days" food). Made a rum and coke and got down to business. Finished a jewelry project I was working on, started working on Christmas cards for a client of mine and finished my Christmas wrapping. In there I watched the new Muppets "Letters to Santa" movie and then Lexxus and I snuggled in for a long winters nap :)

saturday ... Slept in until 9 am!! WOOHOO! Did some running around and then went to the gym. Home for more Christmas cards and then off to my parent's for Chinese food and tree decorating - only I got distracted by looking at old photos so the tree is still not up nor decorated.

sunday ... Another 9 am - woohoo x 2! Off to the gym (game cancelled due to frozen field conditions) and then home for lunch, a nap and more Christmas Cards. Chad came home around 5 and we took the kid (aka Lexxus) home. Grabbed some grub and settled in to watch "A Christmas Story" - a perfect start to the holiday season :)

didn't love but didn't hate. acting sucked but there were a few parts where I giggled. not many - but a few :)

it's beginning to look a lot like christmas!
